Production Manager

Duties Include:

Oversee 6-8 direct reports and report directly to the CEO

Create and maintain a master production scheule based on sales needs. Will include movement of parts through all production areas and shipment of final product.

Oversee and coordinate workflow and all aspects of production throughput

Communicate regularly with management reguarding problems or issues impacting production and provide potential solutions

Work alongside other team leaders and managers to forecast production output

Help other team leaders remove obstacles in their production environment

Apply basic Lean Manufacturing principles to increase production efficiency. Help gather time studies and improve processes

Maintain digital A&D logs for firearm serial numbers.

Requirements:

Fluent in inventory management programs such as Fishbowl, Oracle, or comparable ERP software

5+ Years in manufacturing management and oversight

5+ Years in a personnel management role

High level knowledge in scheduling in a complex manufacturing environment, ideally to include machining, assembly, coating operations, plastic and zinc die cast molding

Must have a strong work ethic and good personality

Positive, encouraging attitude

Excellent leadership and organizational skills

Strong decision-making skills

Ability to work with a variety of personality types

Comfortable in an ever changing and growing work environment
