Basic operation of manual and CNC machines including basic level programming
Use of calipers, micrometers, and gauging to check parts for quality and accuracy
Troubleshooting Issues on Machines
Performing offsets and tool changes on CNC machines
Ability to read and understand prints and setup sheets
Using various hand tools to prep raw components
Helping train entry level machine operators
Helping with part flow though the machine shop
Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 7am - 5:30pm
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
Must be willing to submit to a drug test and Background check free of Felonies
1 year work experience in a manual or cnc machine shop environment
Must be able to lift 50lb
Effective communication including speaking, writing, and active listening
Being able to learn and take instruction well
Must have good attendance
Must have exceptional attention to detail
Able to sit and stand for long periods of time
Must be able to stay on task and work safely at a standard work pace
Being a good team worker and positive attitude is essential
